All eyes are on Ohio, John.
MAGA Republican JD Vance is trying to get elected to the Senate by posing as a hillbilly for Ohio. But JD Vance is no hillbilly. In fact, he worked for a law firm that lobbied for Purdue Pharma, the same company that exacerbated the opioid crisis.
Last week, we held our first phone bank of the election season targeting anti-hillbilly JD Vance. Our volunteers were able to connect directly with over 100 voters in rural areas that are often overlooked by Democratic campaigns.
After a volunteer told one voter they were calling on behalf of a pro-rural group, the voter said, "Wow! You want me to vote against JD Vance? Absolutely!"
Phone banking is an effective way to reach rural voters who have limited access to the internet and live in areas that lack local media presence. These conversations we are having are critical to changing hearts and minds in rural communities.
We are holding a phone bank every Thursday until the election. If you don't want MAGA extremists in Congress, join us every Thursday 6-8 PM ET to defeat JD Vance.
Not into phone banking but want to support our work? Chip in $7 to help us get our message out to rural voters in Ohio.
We need to make sure rural voters in Ohio know that JD Vance is NOT on the side of working people.
