Team — it is an honor to represent and work for Coloradans in Congress. But in all honesty, running for Congress wasn’t about me. It was about us.

As a community, we were tired of partisan politics. For nearly a decade, the GOP incumbent was too busy raking in thousands from the NRA and supporting Donald Trump’s agenda to care.

We needed real representation.

We deserved a new generation of leadership in Congress.

So together, we did the unthinkable. We flipped the district blue and elected a Democratic representative for the first time in history.

That’s no small feat — and it certainly couldn’t have been done by just one person. It took all of us, knocking on thousands of doors, putting up hundreds of yard signs, and chipping in a few dollars at a time to emails like this one, that made the difference.

I’m writing because extremists are trying to come back with a vengeance this year. They’re gunning to flip a few seats and retake the House majority, starting with Colorado.

I don’t take a dime from corporate PACs, so our campaign is counting on your support to get ahead these last few weeks.
