Thursday marks two years since the leaders of the United States, Israel, the UAE and Bahrain came together on the White House lawn to sign the historic Abraham Accords. Shortly after, Israel signed similar groundbreaking peace and normalization agreements with Morocco and Sudan.
The bipartisan DEFEND Act was introduced to encourage the U.S., Israel and Arab allies to strengthen regional security cooperation.
Members of Congress formed the bipartisan, bicameral Abraham Accords caucus. Caucus co-chairs Sen. Jacky Rosen and Sen. James Lankford shared video messages with AIPAC highlighting their efforts.
