Right now, there are probably about 5,000 captive tigers in the US. That's more than the number of tigers living in the wild in all of Asia.
But we don't know their exact numbers or conditions, because very little is being done to track captive tigers—and that's a huge problem.
We're pushing for greater regulation of tigers in the US, and we need your help. In July, the House of Representatives passed the Big Cat Public Safety.
Now, we encourage the Senate to do its part to ensure this bill becomes law.
