Dear John,
I wanted to share some updates with you about my work to represent Middle and Southwest Georgia and about my race for re-election. Here is what has been going on lately:
1. I hosted a townhall for my constituents last week. This was a great opportunity for me to connect with the people I represent and hear from them about what issues they are facing and how they are doing.
2. There’s less than a month left to register to vote in Georgia. Visit this page to register to vote, or to double check your registration is up-to-date. We’re going to need everyone to turn out and vote for Democrats up and down the ballot to keep Georgia and the U.S. House blue!
3. Speaker Pelosi visited Georgia, and here’s what she had to say about my race: “His race is very important to us. It’s of the highest priority, and it makes a big difference to the people that he represents.”
John, Speaker Pelosi is right. This race is critical to holding on to our Democratic House, and Republicans are doing everything they can to flip this seat. If you’re able, can you chip in to my re-election campaign so I can continue representing Middle and Southwest Georgia?
Thank you,
Congressman Sanford D. Bishop
