John,
Since the Supreme Court’s disastrous decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, 14 states are have enacted extreme or total bans on abortion.
Knowing that the fall of Roe would have devastating consequences for Vermonters, I worked proactively with my colleagues in the State Senate to pass some of the strongest reproductive rights laws in the nation for Vermont – and today, these laws continue to protect our right to abortion, reproductive health care, and bodily autonomy.
I’m ready to take the same commitment to reproductive freedom that I’ve shown on the state level to Congress – and I’m proud that NARAL Pro-Choice America is standing with me in this fight.
The upcoming midterm elections will decide the future of reproductive freedom in America. Will you contribute $5 or more to our campaign today to ensure I can fight to defend our fundamental freedoms in Congress this November?

My Republican opponent believes that individual states should have the right to decide their own abortion laws. That kind of philosophy is exactly what has allowed 14 individual states to adopt cruel, extreme, and dangerous bans in the weeks since Roe fell.
Views like these are wildly out of step with the views of the average Vermonter, who believes that abortion access is an essential right that needs to be protected.
We owe it to our community to fight for these essential rights – not only for a world where abortion care is legal and safe, but also destigmatized and accessible to all. If you agree, then I need you with me in this fight: Contribute $5 or more to my campaign today to ensure that Vermont’s next Member of Congress will be a champion for reproductive freedom.
Thank you,
Becca Balint
