This summer, while Democrats passed legislation to tackle inflation, lower prescription drug costs, and defend our most fundamental freedoms, Republicans voted against a $35 co-pay cap for insulin and pushed a national abortion ban. The difference in vision and values between our parties could not be more clear. It is not an exaggeration to say that everything we hold dear as Democrats – from voting rights to abortion rights and even marriage equality – is on the line in the upcoming midterm elections.
