“Maxwell Frost could become the first Gen Z member of Congress”
|
John, it’s Maxwell, and I’m still in disbelief that together, we’re making history.
I ran to represent the communities that makeup my district, not just to be the first Gen Z member of Congress– but it’s still important to the story.
Because now, young people will have an elevated voice in our government. I’ll make sure of it.
But the GOP is desperate to uphold the status quo and their own power– meaning they will do anything to defeat me and stop young people from claiming their seat at the table.
I’m grateful for the thousands of grassroots supporters who got me here, but the general election is an entirely new fight and I’m still $9,317 short of my weekly goal. Will you chip in $27 right now and power my historic campaign into November? >>
Young people are demanding change. We’ll face harshest consequences if Congress fails to act on climate change, gun violence, and an economic system that serves only the wealthiest.
But we don’t just need elected leaders to listen to young people, we also need more young people as our elected leaders.
And together, we PROVED that Gen Z candidates running for office CAN win elections.
But the GOP knows that young people are a direct threat to their power, and they’ll do anything to keep us silent and keep pushing their destructive policies that will destroy our future.
I refuse to let that happen. But now that we’re in the general election, I’m going head-to-head with the GOP, and I can’t afford to miss my weekly goal and any goal after that. So please, John: Can you chip in $27 to prove to Republicans in November that OUR time is right now? >>
Don’t count out young people,
Maxwell Alejandro Frost
