We shouldn’t be surprised by Jim Jordan’s divisive language, John. But just last week, he took to Twitter to prove once again just how out of touch he is with Ohio.
Jim Jordan described what he believes “Real America” is – where according to him, you “work hard, pay your bills, and provide for your family.” And according to him, President Biden and Democrats don’t represent Real America with our policies. All this comes in the wake of President Biden promising to help Americans by canceling up to $20,000 worth of student loans for those who need it most.
It’s clearer than ever: What Jim Jordan is really trying to say is that any American in need of help should be left behind by our government, not taken care of.
John, elected officials are selected to be the voice their neighbors and constituents deserve, to help build up our communities so that we may all thrive.
But according to Jim Jordan, unless you fall in line with his idea of Real America, you won’t be getting his help at all. It’s shameful, it’s despicable, and we can’t let him get away with his backward thinking.
