I invite everyone to my town hall and campaign trips. I answer all inquiries, phone calls, and emails — even those who disagree with me. I do it because I would represent all of us, more than my party and ideological circle. I want the voter to be informed.
I encourage constituents — especially Jack Bergman — to debate and bring us tough questions. How can voters be informed when candidates refuse to debate or hold town halls?
Voting based on the party isn't an informed voter; it isn't the crown jewel of our democracy. We can and should do better to preserve our American democracy.
We are not just functionaries of our parties. This election isn't just Democrat vs. Republican; it's dignity and integrity vs. Bergman's deceit and deception. I am Dr. Bob running against Jack Bergman. Please share our messages with your family and friends in Michigan's 1st District. Help others get to know us and understand our character and principles — then, vote on what is important to you, your family, and your friends.
Unlike my opponent, I support women's rights and private medical decision-making. I support your freedoms, our constitution, and your right to vote. I support education, healthcare, and the environment. Most importantly, I will never dishonor or try to undermine the will of the people or our democracy.
We need principled leadership in Michigan's 1st District. I intend to bring integrity back to this Congressional seat. My opponent counts on division and discord, uninformed voters, and a disengaged electorate as a campaign strategy.
Unaccountability is an embarrassing, undemocratic strategy to hold on to power.
