Like most of you, I have been watching the FBI investigation of President Trump and the other poor folks that got swept up in it.  The central figure on the FBI side was, of course, former FBI Director James Comey.  Comey is one of those guys that makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up whenever I see him.  In his latest interview with Chis Wallace, Comey seems to want us to believe he was not the leader of the FBI but just a spectator.  He falls into the standard bureaucratic line: I can’t tell a lie, someone else did it.  Sorry James ole boy but I saved my program and it has you listed as the coach.  Your chances at fame are not lost yet, they still have not nominated Worm of the Year.  Your chances are looking better every day.

In Virginia, the Gun Sanctuary movement now covers 76 counties out of 113, 9 out of 38 Independent cities and 13 towns.  By the time you read this there will be more municipalities adopting Gun Sanctuary Resolutions.  Governor Northam claims he supports the Second Amendment but all the while he is saying that his minions are filing Draconian gun bans and magazine bans in the Virginia legislature.  Governor Northam is adroit at talking out of both sides of his mouth.  All of this is because Michael Bloomberg poured money into the Virginia elections.  What we are all watching is Bloomberg style gun control.  Northam has said he will call out the National Guard to enforce his gun control scheme.  Just as a reminder to Governor Northam, those guardsmen are also gun owners and may not follow what they consider to be an illegal order.  In short, Governor, what makes you think the National Guard is on your side?

Tazewell County, Virginia, has gone even further.  In Virginia, sheriffs can form militias and Tazewell County has taken that into consideration.  If the State of Virginia tries to remove the sheriff, Tazewell County is considering forming a militia and authorizing what type of arms they must carry.  In short, it appears everyone might be in the militia and the State of Virginia can’t do much about it.  This is far from over.  Nothing would surprise me. 
 
On Tuesday, the ISRA was in Sangamon County Court arguing against the Gun Dealer Licensing Certification Act.  The judge has continued the case until January 30, 2020.
