Friend -

It's Mat, Sen. Kevin Kinney's campaign manager. I just saw the Iowa Republican Party’s latest ad, shamelessly attacking Kevin and his law enforcement service. Here’s a screenshot below:

Reject Kevin Kinney: Opposed holding rioters accountable, betrayed law enforcement

The Republican Party is already lying about Kevin and we can’t let them get away with it.

We have to set the record straight.

Kevin spent nearly 30 years in law enforcement including a decade working on human trafficking cases all across the country. That work spurred him to run for office and after he was elected, Kevin led the effort to establish Iowa's first ever Office of Human Trafficking in the Department of Public Safety. His record on law enforcement is crystal clear — Kevin backs the blue. If you are able, will you contribute to help re-elect Kevin?

We can’t let them lie about Kevin.

We know that Kevin is a public servant who has devoted his life to helping his neighbors as a Lt. Deputy Sheriff, a school board member, and now a State Senator. Kevin is running for re-election to continue working across the aisle and getting things done on the issues that matter to Iowans’ health and safety.

The attacks are only going to get more desperate and we cannot fight back if we don’t have the resources to counter their lies. Help us defend Kevin’s sterling record.

FIGHT BACK ([link removed])

Sincerely,

Mat Willey
