We have an important fundraising deadline at the end of the month, when we publicly report everything we’ve raised to the Federal Election Commission.

To ensure we put forward a strong showing at the end of the month, we need to reach every single goal. Right now, our online fundraising program is $7,000 behind where it should be. John, can you chip in $15, $25, or more to help us close this gap by Friday night?

Kevin McCarthy and Joe’s radical opponent, Mike France, will be watching us closely for any signs of weakness in our quarterly fundraising report. They think that eastern Connecticut is up for grabs and that they can win a seat in New England by pouring millions of dollars into our region. In fact, they’ve already reserved $2.5 million worth of TV ad space to run vicious attack ads in Connecticut this fall.

The more we raise now, the stronger our message that eastern Connecticut can’t be bought by the radical right will be.

Can you chip in whatever you can afford today to help us reach our $7,000 goal? I know that if we can close the gap by Friday night, our campaign will be in a strong position to defeat the radical right and re-elect Joe this November.
