KS-03 is a must-win for DeSantis and his extremist base, but after their embarrassing failure with the August anti-abortion ballot measure, they’re doing everything they can to fire up their supporters to ensure a repeat doesn’t happen. By bringing in a national fringe leader, they’re showing just how scared they are ahead of the midterms.
Ron DeSantis coming to the district is telling on where extremist candidates like Amanda Adkins are trying to push our state: He is the governor who pushed through a 15-week abortion ban in Florida, despite it being deeply unpopular with voters and now being argued in the state Supreme Court.
He also helped pass the “Don’t Say Gay” bill into law, a discriminatory measure that bans any discussion of LGBTQ topics in schools and is now being pushed in other states nationwide.
We don’t need dangerous politicians like DeSantis in our district, spreading harmful disinformation to voters.
