Back-to-School Checklist

Protect Your Child Against COVID-19
COVID-19 vaccination is recommended for everyone six months and older. Getting vaccinated means your child can get back to sports, theatre, camps & more.
It also protects their friends, family, school staff, teachers and anyone else that they are around who are at increased risk for severe COVID-19 illness.

Talk About Vaping
Think your child wouldn’t vape? Statistics say they might. E-cigarette use among youth is a significant public health concern and causes irreversible lung damage, lifelong nicotine addiction and impacts brain development. It’s time to talk about the dangers of teen vaping.

Fight off the Flu
There are many myths about the flu, but the fact remains that it’s a serious respiratory illness that is easily spread from person to person. Everyone 6 months and older should get their annual flu shot in September or October to fight off the flu which usually occurs from December through March.
