Oswego, Ill. – Lauren Underwood, Nancy
Pelosi, and Joe Biden are driving our country and our state into the
ground with their out-of-touch agenda. A new Gallup survey shows that
56% of Americans are struggling in the face of skyrocketing inflation
and rising costs.

IL-14 Rep. Lauren Underwood and President Biden
have made our lives more expensive and more difficult. They put their
radical, high-tax agenda ahead of the hardworking people of Illinois.
Every piece of bad legislation that Lauren Underwood has voted for, Joe
Biden has signed into law, and the government has benefited while
leaving hardworking Illinoisans left to pick up the pieces of their
failed policies.

Scott Gryder said: “We’re seeing record-high gas
prices because Nancy Pelosi and Lauren Underwood bowed to the demands of
climate groups who are attempting to force Americans into buying
electric vehicles that only the wealthy can afford. Taxes are going up
because the Democrats rammed legislation through Congress that hikes
taxes on working families. Purchasing household essentials has never
been so expensive because of the Democrat’s reckless agenda."

He
added: “On November 8, we will change who controls Washington, D.C. and
restore common-sense governance that puts people first. It shouldn’t be
a contest for families to choose between buying gas or a gallon of milk,
and for too many that has become the reality under the Underwood-Pelosi
agenda.”

Scott has a long history of leadership
for the community he serves. Elected three times to the Kendall County
Board, Scott currently serves as its Chairman. By being a common-sense,
pragmatic conservative, Scott has worked to keep taxes low and supported
responsible spending policies on the County Board. He will take the same
approach to Congress.

Scott grew up in Plano and has called Kendall
County home for most of his life. A graduate of the University of
Illinois with a degree in business administration, Scott successfully
pursued his law degree at DePaul. He is an active member of the
Federalist Society and is licensed to practice law in Illinois and the
U.S. Northern District of Illinois.

Scott and his wife live in Oswego
with their daughter. Outside of politics, he is active with the
Oswegoland Park Foundation Board, is a PrairieFest Sponsor, and serves
on the Fox Valley Family YMCA Board.
