Dear John,

Have you pledged to vote and help mobilize the #VoteAgainstFacism?

As we exit summer and students across the nation are entering a third pandemic-framed school year, the brutal heat wave and drought conditions out west continue. So does the fightback from Starbucks workers across the US, Amazon workers, Seattle teachers, Minneapolis nurses, US railroad workers, and American University staff in DC, each fighting to shift the burden of the economic crisis onto the rich.

The fight for abortion rights, for clean water, for labor rights and the PRO-Act, for peace and an end to racist police violence—each and every contingent of the all people’s front must converge this November at the polls. It will take this, and more, to block the GOP Big Business agenda.

The choice in November between the GOP and those who support our issues and demands could not be clearer. And need we say, nor could the danger of fascism be greater.

It’s but one side of the struggle, though an important one. The battle at the ballot box will determine the terrain on which we fight over the next two years. Will you be there?
