Distributor Returns due September 19

Your August return and payment for Cigarette Tax or Tobacco Tax are due September 19.

Remember that you can file your return and pay any tax due electronically through e-Services.

Sales on Mille Lacs Reservation

If you sell cigarette and tobacco products to retail stores located on the Mille Lacs Reservation, you must:

• Have a Reservation Sales account.
• Report your sales by the 18th of each month for prior month sales.
• Use the correct Cigarette Tax stamps on the cigarette packages.

Use our Cigarette and Tobacco Distributor list to verify the license status of Minnesota cigarette and tobacco distributors and subjobbers. We update the list monthly.
