As in neighboring Arizona, the Senate race in Nevada is critical to keeping the levers of power out of the hands of MAGA maniacs. Incumbent Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto is being challenged by Trump-extremist Adam Laxalt, who has shown he is willing to say or do anything to win.

Not only is Laxalt a rabid proponent of the Big Lie, he actually signed one of the fraudulent 2020 election lawsuits in Nevada as attorney for the Trump side. And he has preemptively claimed election fraud in his own 2022 race before a single vote has been cast.

While Sen. Cortez Masto talks with rural Nevadans about their needs,
her MAGA challenger harps on “wokeness in the military."
In an effort to build a pro-democracy coalition across party lines, Cortez Masto has been reaching out to Republicans who want to protect the Constitution and rule of law in this country. Boosting turnout across the state will also help reelect Gov. Steve Sisolak against Trump stooge Joe Lombardo.
