Hi Everyone,

A few updates:

First of all, thank you to all who came to the in-person gathering. One
volunteer recently said something that really stuck with me. "I've been
involved in several networks like this, and there are two models that work.
One is an octopus. Everyone has to be in touch with headquarters for that
to work. The other is a spider web. Everyone has to have access to everyone
else."

My volunteer network is a spider web. In a separate email, I will send
everyone who's expressed interest in volunteering a list of all the other
volunteers. I've also asked Offie to reach out to folks on that list, so
please expect a call or email from someone on our team to just say hi, and
provide (at least moral) support for whatever effort you're undertaking. I
also invite you all to join the Facebook Group for my supporters
<[link removed]>,
so you can all collaborate with each other without waiting for weekly
updates from me.

I encourage you to reach out to someone nearby if you feel like being
friendly.

Updates:

- Donald in Addison County has gotten a letter to the editor published
in the Addison Independent.
- I met with Andrew Yang's Forward Party Political Coordinator. It seems
very likely that within a week or two, we will receive their endorsement,
and a modest amount of resources. I'm encouraged - what is a modest
contribution for them - will likely double or triple my ad budget. And
no strings or expectations are required of me, just continuing to be what
they term a "Democracy Innovator."
- Becca Balint is texting thousands of Vermonters - totally distorting
my position by saying that she needs money because I am "anti-choice." If
she's resorting to butchering the truth, not only is that a sign that she's
concerned about my challenge to her candidacy, it's also a pretty profound
mistake on her part.
- My website is updated with some public events coming up, including
three debates, one of which is an online VT Digger debate on Thursday at
~6pm.
- Events:
-

VT Digger Debate: Online • Thursday, September 15th -6pm
