Penning Op-Ed in the AJC
I led Georgia’s House Republican Delegation in penning an op-ed in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution outlining how the recently passed Inflation “Reduction” Act is a bad deal for Georgia.
This legislation removes the tax credit for many of the most economical electric vehicles (EVs), such as those made by Kia. Kia is one of our state's largest employers, and this bill puts their customers and Georgia’s economy at a disadvantage. The bill subsidizes wealthy taxpayers, who purchase $80,000 EVs, by modifying the plug-in vehicle tax credit to a "clean vehicle" tax credit valued at up to $7,500. However, due to new restrictions from this legislation, Kia’s EVs are no longer eligible for the credit.
Instead of doing their job and ensuring that the legislation was not detrimental to our state before voting for it, Senators Warnock and Ossoff simply did what Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, and President Biden ordered. Georgia Republicans in the House are dedicated to cleaning up the damage the Biden administration has caused and are here to stand up for Georgia's businesses and people, unlike Senators Warnock and Ossoff.

Meeting with Georgia Autism Speaks
I had the privilege of meeting with Kelsey in Warner Robins recently. She is the Georgia Autism Speaks Advocacy Ambassador and Special Olympics Messenger.
Kelsey shared her thoughts on upcoming legislation and policies that are important for individuals with disabilities in our district. Thank you, Kelsey, for taking the time to speak with me!
Supporting Georgia's Workforce
The Democrats’ harmful PRO Act is dangerous to American workers. I am proud to be a co-sponsor of Rep. Rick Allen's Employee Rights Act, which provides common-sense solutions to protect the American workforce.
This legislation defends workers from union intimidation, protects small businesses from harmful regulations, and it preserves the unique arrangements of gig workers, independent contractors, and entrepreneurs.
