96John,
Those of us who are old enough to remember September
11, 2001, know exactly where we were and what we were doing when we
first heard our country was under attack.
We felt anger and grief as we
watched the horrific scenes on television.
We remember the courage of
the firemen, policemen, and other first responders who rushed in to
help, in some cases sacrificing their own lives.
We also remember how
united we all were as Americans on that day. People were eager to
support their neighbors and friends in a way we haven’t seen before or
since.
And, in the aftermath of the attacks, an entire generation of
young men and women volunteered to defend our great nation – and they
deserve our undying gratitude.
We must never forget September 11,
2001. Please join us in taking a moment to remember the victims and
honor the heroes of that fateful day.
Sincerely,
Kevin Hern
