John: Why is law enforcement a punching bag in America? Do you remember when we, like other first responders and the military, were hailed as heroes in the aftermath of 9/11? Twenty-one years ago on that day, the sky was blue, the air was crisp, and I was patrolling the streets as a beat cop in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Most Americans remember exactly where they were on that fateful Tuesday morning. Law enforcement and first responders were the first on the scene outside Shanksville, the Pentagon, and the World Trade Center towers, running into the carnage… and in the days and weeks that followed, Americans overwhelmingly Backed the Blue as we helped our nation heal from the terrible attacks on our soil. Twenty-one years later, the radical left’s assault on our Institutions is continuing to erode civil society – and their top target is law enforcement professionals who patrol our streets and keep our communities safe. The men and women in blue are all that stands between civil society and lawlessness, but politicians rarely seem to care with their “defund” and “criminal first” agenda that put criminals back on the streets before police officers can finish their paperwork.
Law Enforcement Loyalty PAC (LELPAC) stands with law enforcement. We support candidates for office who will fight back against the ‘Defund’ movement and their all-out assault against law enforcement. We have watched riots burn cities and tear at the moral fiber of our nation. Protests against police have turned violent and deadly.
