Twenty-one years ago, the world witnessed the most tragic terrorist attack in history.

We will never forget where we were when we saw the footage of the Twin Towers collapsing and the Pentagon on fire. Today, we remember the 2,977 innocent Americans who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. We remember the fallen officers and first responders who bravely put themselves into harm’s way to rescue countless others.

On this day, we pray for peace and comfort for all. May we never forget those who sacrificed for us that day. May we remember those who had the courage to protect us in our darkest hour. May the American spirit always prevail.
