Today, we each carry a heavier heart than usual, because of that one day that stitched our many hearts into one single beat.
We must never forget the selfless acts of sacrifice and bravery of the first responders – police, fire, rescue, EMT’s, and all who embodied the personification of service and valor that day.
We must hold the families who lost their loved ones up in our prayers, and as a nation, commit with renewed resolve to be forever vigilant and to protect our nation’s most precious freedoms.
We must remember them, and honor them.
