The Office of

Governor Ned Lamont

Connecticut Remembers:

21st annual 9/11 Memorial Ceremony

There are 161 people with ties to Connecticut who were killed in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States.

Their names are included on the state's official 9/11 memorial, located at Sherwood Island State Park [[link removed]] in Westport.

The memorial is open to visitors year-round and serves as a solemn place to reflect and remember those who lost their lives on that tragic day.
