I just came from the House floor where I voted NO to impeaching our President Donald J. Trump.
The evidence clearly does not support the articles of impeachment concocted by House Democrats. But that hasn't stopped them from tearing apart our country and wasting time on this partisan witch hunt. No, they'd rather score cheap political points than find common ground and work together to solve problems.
From the start of Donald Trump's presidency, Democrats have been clear that impeachment is a just a tool to destroy President Trump and his America First agenda. This sham impeachment is a disgrace to the Constitution and the American people.
With our economy hitting record highs, the Democrats won't stop with this political smokescreen. Outside groups are pouring millions of dollars into North Carolina to distract voters from the positive economy President Trump and our pro-growth policies have achieved. I'm ready for the fight - but I need your help.
