In just a moment, I am going to ask you to make a contribution to split
between No Dem Left Behind and my campaign to defeat Ron Johnson in
Wisconsin. Please give me a chance to explain why this request —
especially today — is so important.

Here is the truth:

At the end of this month, we face a critical FEC fundraising deadline, and
we have some very big goals to meet before it ends. 

The reason this matters is because right now, Ron Johnson’s campaign and
his allies are flooding the airwaves with ads. We have ads up too, but not
to the level of everyone trying to beat us.

So tomorrow, my campaign is going to make a few important budget
decisions. And honestly, what we can afford to do, and what we can’t
afford to do, could be the difference in this race.

This campaign is funded by lots of people making online donations, but we
need more people doing their part. We need you, John. Today if
