John, President Biden has renewed the call he made, in a speech that Trump said was, “the most vicious, hateful and divisive speech ever delivered by an American president.” Biden said again this weekend:

“I ran for President because I believed we were in a battle for the soul of this nation. I still believe that to be true. MAGA Republicans are a clear and present danger to our democracy. But we have the power to stop their assault on America.”

Biden has been compared to Satan and Hitler for talking about the MAGA Republican assault on our voting rights and democratic traditions, but he and the Democratic National Committee are still going to fight hard for us in November. They’re not giving up on this country. How about you?

The entire GOP culture is based around "owning the libs" at this point, which means basing your existence in politics on hurting your opponents, as opposed to doing anything good or constructive for your constituents, the country or really anyone. And it shows in their behavior.

Baby killer. Communist. Christ Killer. America Hater. Libt*rd. These are just some of the many things I've been called, and not just by random Twitter users, but by elected & appointed GOP officeholders, as well as prominent Republican pundits and writers. 

But like any bully, they crawl up in a ball when you hit back. And last week Biden hit back. He pointed out Trump cult's attacks on democracy, on the rule of law and the threats and intimidation that are second nature to them. They're not used to this! So they are lashing out like toddlers on a playground fighting over a swing.
