Hi John, I wanted to make sure you saw my campaign’s latest TV ad. If you haven’t had the chance, you can check it out here →

I was a freshman at the University of Maine in Farmington when the twin towers fell on September 11th. I felt called to serve, so I joined the Marine Corps and served combat tours in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Now, on the National Mall in Washington DC, you can find monuments to many generations of veterans – but not for those who served after 9/11.
It’s time to show our veterans that we're never going to forget and that their nation deeply appreciates their service, and to send that special message to all the family members of our service members. That’s why I worked with veterans from both parties to build the Global War on Terrorism Memorial, because the memory of brave Americans who gave their lives for their country must live on for generations to come.
I hope you’ll take a moment to watch our ad that tells that story, and then if you’re able, chip in a few dollars to help us keep it running on TV screens all across the district.
