John – Election day is coming up fast, but voting actually begins in a matter of DAYS in many states as absentee ballots go out and early voting gets underway next month.
Here’s a few things you may not know about midterm elections:
Midterms have lower turnout than presidential elections, and voters tend to be older and a little more conservative.
Democrats and progressive candidates are gaining support in every age group, but many elections are still going to be VERY close.
Republicans have made their intentions clear: If they regain the majority, they’re coming for Social Security and Medicare.
That’s why Brand New Congress is working hard to defeat Rand Paul and elect Charles Booker.
Rand is one of the single most outspoken critics of Social Security in the Senate, and if he gets his way he will even cut benefits for current retirees.
As Charles recently said, “This is not the American Dream. This is not the American Promise. This is not Freedom. We must do better for our communities.”
