Did you see Colorado Republican US Senate candidate Joe O'Dea's comments yesterday on abortion rights, Johh?
He said he wants to "bring balance to women's rights." That means attaching all sorts of strings to a woman's right to make her own health care decisions.
This is really simple: Women don't need Joe O'Dea balancing our rights. Women can make their own health care decisions in consultation with their doctor, not Joe O'Dea.
My friend Michael Bennet has been an advocate for women's rights, and I am proud to stand with him. Joe O'Dea's comments are dangerous, and women in Colorado are not going to stand for them.
