John, I know what it's like to experience financial hardship. I know what it's like to see your hardworking family members lose everything due to no fault of their own. And I am committed to increasing financial stability for all Delawareans.
Over the past four years, I have proven my ability to balance our community's needs with the very real necessity of financial security and incentives for corporations. I have shown that you can trust me to guard our finances with the utmost care.
I have shown that I will do everything in my power to protect my home state and the people who live in it–including my parents, my aunts and uncles, and my children.
But in order to continue my service as Treasurer, I need your help today. We need more resources if we're going to win this fight–because the last time we had a Democrat in the White House and a DE Treasurer's election, a Republican won.
