John, it's official.
Donald J. Trump just became one of only three presidents in history to be impeached. This is a huge moment for our movement and requires us to take a pause.
When Trump took office in 2017, Paul Ryan was the Speaker of the House and Republicans held a majority. There was no guarantee that Trump would be held accountable for his actions, ever.
But we rose up on day one in what became the largest single day of protest in history and got to work. We rose up every year after that, ran for office, fled to the ballot box in historic numbers in 2018 to flip the House, and showed our power again last night at hundreds of actions. We made it clear to every Congressperson that we expected them to fight, or face us.
It may feel like this outcome was preordained or that it doesn’t matter – but nothing could be further from the truth. This act of justice was only possible because of this movement – and it will be remembered.
While this is a huge history-making milestone, there is so much work ahead. We refuse to accept a lying, corrupt president, and if we rise up starting on January 18th, we can finish what we started in 2017.
Will you RSVP to rise up in D.C. on January 18th (one month from today) to bookend Trump’s presidency with a massive show of women-led resistance?

Across the globe we’ve seen that mass protests and people-powered movements make change happen. When millions take to the streets, it sends an undeniable message that we the people are fed-up – and that our power is unstoppable.
In 2020, we must fight harder than we've ever fought for our freedom and rise up together to demand a better future for our country. On January 18th, we will set the tone and leave no doubt that 2020 is the year we’ll evict Trump from the White House.
Let’s finish what we started.
