Re-electing Cori will take a grassroots effort.
Hey John — Adrastos here, Cori's Campaign Manager.
With less than two months until Election Day, I wanted to share my thoughts on the state of the race with you. But first, I'm going to ask: If you can, will you chip in any amount right now to make sure we re-elect Cori on November 8?
As I see it, this race could go two ways:
Scenario One: We give this our all! For the next 59 days, we give this race all of our time, energy, and resources to make sure we're getting out the vote for Cori. And it shows on Election Day when we turn out a historic number of voters.
Scenario Two: We give in to complacency. We take our momentum for granted and assume someone else will step up. Instead, we end up short on resources as the establishment and far-right continue their attack on the first Congresswoman from the movement to protect Black lives.
These same right-wing forces came out against Cori in the Democratic primary, and they are not going to let up anytime soon. To be candid, the results on Election Day will depend on the work we put in right now.
I know this team has what it takes to win, but we need your help. Cori doesn't accept a cent from corporate PACs, so it's going to take a grassroots effort from this movement.
