Pray for the preparations for the launch of the local chapter of the Global Survivor Network in Uganda in October. Pray for great alignment as the IJM Uganda team meets with survivors to finalize the charter for the group. This local survivor network will be a platform for survivors to speak out, support one another and advocate for change in society.

Praise God for the opportunity to celebrate the graduation of 120 new men and women trained to provide care and accompaniment to children victims of sexual violence in Bolivia. This group of professionals and students of law, psychology and social work will now join IJM Bolivia´s pro-bono volunteer program to form multidisciplinary teams and walk with specific families in their journey to achieve justice and restauration.

Please pray for a number of upcoming trainings with college students on human trafficking and bonded labor. These events are a great opportunity to meet the next generation of leaders in our project areas and to inspire them to work in the justice sector. Pray that IJM staff can make these trainings clear and compelling and pray that these students feel equipped to combat trafficking even in their own communities.

Please pray for the plea-bargaining negotiations of our 5 OSEC cases that are still pending in court. These cases are being handled by our Cebu Prosecution Development team.

Praise the Lord for the blessing of getting time off on Labor Day. Praise God for the opportunity that the team at IJM had this weekend to spend an extra day with their families and loved ones. Lord, we thank you for the good days and the difficult ones, and for the gifts you have given us to help this world be a better place through our work.
The updates we share on survivors or their cases can become sensitive over time. To respect and protect
them, please refrain from posting these prayer requests online.
