Yesterday, the DNC Resolution Committee refused to allow a vote on our resolution to Ban Dark Money from Democratic Primaries — a top priority of our members and the grassroots of the Party.

Now, the real work begins. Our Revolution Board members Larry Cohen and Jane Kleeb are helping lead a coalition of 33 progressive DNC members to push for a ban on dark money in Democratic primaries — and we have powerful support from Bernie, Ro Khanna, Pramila Jayapal, and others behind us.

Let's be clear, if the Democratic Party's official position is to oppose the influence of dark money in politics, they should have no problem passing this resolution to ban dark money in primaries.

Dems can't be the Party of democracy in one breath and then allow an astronomical amount of money from Republican megadonors and corporate interests to flood Democratic primaries.

Despite the onslaught of dark money, progressives clinched critical wins in the 2022 primaries - folks like Greg Casar (TX-35), Summer Lee (PA-12), and many others are headed to Congress and building a progressive bench down-ballot.

But, we also saw sudden waves of cash drown districts with false smears against some of our most beloved candidates, leading to heartbreaking losses and erasing 30-point leads in the campaign's final weeks.

This is abhorrent and anti-democratic. It cannot stand, and Democrats have an opportunity to change it.

Can you chip in ASAP so we can send as many calls as possible to DNC members showing them that Democratic voters want to pass this resolution and Ban Dark Money from the primaries?
