🌳 Enact a Green New Deal: Cori introduced the Green New Deal for Cities
alongside Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to fund an expansive
array of community-based climate and environmental justice jobs and
projects — including wind power procurement, clean water infrastructure,
and air quality monitoring — by giving funding directly to city, state,
local, tribal, and territorial governments.

🚰 Guarantee clean water for all: Cori is helping lead the fight to invest
in comprehensive lead pipe replacement, wetland restoration, water
sources, and water efficiency programs to protect our water and address
current water crises.

🏥 Fund Medicare for All: Cori is an original co-sponsor of the Medicare
for All bill because health care is a human right, and as a nurse and
mother, she knows the struggles everyday families go through.

💵 Pass at least a $15 minimum wage: Cori has been fighting for a $15
minimum wage since well before she stepped foot in the People’s House. Now
that she’s in Congress, she’s voted to up the minimum wage and is leading
the charge to end the Senate filibuster and get this bill to President
Biden's desk.

🏠 Ensure affordable housing for all: Cori has been the unhoused single
mother living out of her car; she knows what it’s like living
paycheck-to-paycheck, struggling to just make ends meet. Last August, she
took direct action and organized both Congress and the White House to
extend the eviction moratorium, keeping millions of people housed. Now
she’s working to enact an immediate moratorium on evictions for as long as
communities are living through this public health emergency.

⚖️ Address white supremacy in our criminal-legal system: Cori is fighting
to end the death penalty, abolish ICE, and defund the police — and she
won't stop until we've dismantled white supremacy in all of its forms.

John, Cori has
a packed agenda because we need bold solutions to match the current crises
we face. We can't afford to think small, so Cori is leading the fight to
transform our politics and deliver meaningful change to our communities.
