John, last week, President Biden gave a speech about the MAGA forces that seek to divide our Commonwealth and our country.

Biden spoke in front of our democracy’s premier landmark, Independence Hall in Philadelphia. He traveled to our country’s birthplace to underscore the need to protect our fragile democracy from folks like Donald Trump and Glenn Youngkin.

John, Youngkin’s agenda mirrors Trump’s in a terrifying way. We need to expand our Senate majority and our check on his power. Will you contribute $5 to Hala’s campaign to help her advance to the Senate to stop Youngkin from enacting his dangerous, divisive plan for Virginia?

Biden illustrated not only what’s on the line – our very democracy – but what we can each do to safeguard it. It boils down to participation: as he said, “We cannot afford to have anyone on the sidelines.” We must engage and inspire every voter we encounter.

With the Senate majority on the line next year, we need to heed the president’s words NOW. It’s on us to engage voters and build the coalitions necessary to win this election and stop Youngkin’s radical right-wing schemes in their tracks.
