I’ll be making my case directly to the people instead.
Team,
Tomorrow evening, the sixth DNC Democratic debate will be held. I won’t be there, which means it’ll be the first debate of this campaign that I will not be participating in.
But I’ll be making my case directly to the people instead. I’m headed to Iowa for a five-day bus tour and during the debate tomorrow, I’ll be calling caucus-goers to talk with them about our vision of justice for all.
I’ll also be calling some of our grassroots donors tomorrow night. If you donate today, you may be one of the supporters I talk to.
The presidential debate stage is an important platform for candidates to share their ideas with a national audience. I won’t have that opportunity this time around, but I’ll be talking directly with caucus-goers and continuing to build this campaign brick by brick.
Today, I was in Nevada -- another critical caucus state. The enthusiasm that we’re seeing for our campaign on the ground both here and across the country inspires me every single day. The DNC’s debate thresholds don’t accurately capture the excitement for this movement that we’re building together.
It’s why I’m asking you to chip in $5 to help power our campaign during these critical next few weeks. And hey, keep your phone close by. I may be giving you a call tomorrow night.
I can’t wait to be back in Iowa again tomorrow.
Cory
