The wide array of ideas and feedback that my constituents share with me always informs my fight for NJ-11 in Washington. I sat down with NJ businesses, manufacturing, and education leaders at Wireless Telecom Group in Parsippany to hear directly about how the CHIPS and Science Act will lower costs, create jobs, strengthen supply chains, and continue to build an innovation economy right here in NJ-11. I welcomed Senator Booker to EDGE NJ in Denville for a town hall focused on LGBTQ+ issues and the fight to protect equal rights. Listen into our conversation about supporting the LGBTQ+ community here.
I teamed up with Department of Labor Secretary Marty Walsh to host a labor town hall at the Bricklayers Union Hall in Fairfield to hear directly from our unions. Secretary (and former Mayor of Boston) Walsh and I might not agree on sports teams, but we definitely agree on the importance of supporting the labor unions that have made our nation stronger and more resilient.
Just this week I held a telephone town hall for seniors with federal, state, and county experts who provided tips and resources for fraud and scam prevention. Thank you to the over 2,500 people who joined us!
