CARAVAN OF LOVE: HOLIDAY EDITION

GRACIAS to everyone who made our Holiday Caravan of Love possible! We had a whopping total of 22 vehicles join us on our quest to spread all kinds of donations, toys, cheer, and hope to the 3 migrant shelters with the most children! We are so grateful to all of your contributions, and continue to be amazed at what our volunteers and leaders are able to accomplish.

Mobile School Posada Party!!
School Bus Project and Border Angels Posada @ Roca de Salvacion Shelter. On the last day of classes the children were surprised with a special Posada party and toys for all the kids!!!

The Mobile School Project

The Mobile School project was born from the collaboration between two humanitarian aid organizations Border Angels and The Schoolbox Project. As you may know, Border Angels sponsors ~15 shelters in Tijuana, MX serving migrant families who often spend many months waiting for asylum hearings and next steps. The shelters house hundreds of children, many of whom have spent months, if not years outside of the school system - if they were able to attend in their home countries at all.
