John,

Here's the reality of the situation: GOP candidates are running on the Big
Lie in races for influential seats across the country, and they're
winning. 261 candidates on ballots across America deny that President
Biden won the 2020 election. >

Just 30% of Republican candidates agree the election was legitimate. And
even then, many of those candidates still raise the same age-old
dogwhistles about election integrity and voter fraud.

Many of these election-deniers are all but guaranteed to win in November.

this fall

With so little time to process the loss of our constitutional right to
abortion under Roe v. Wade, it can be hard to refocus on the future while
we are still angry and grieving now. But if anything, the overturning of
Roe shows us that nothing is off the table.

There was a time not so long ago when many Democrats believed Donald Trump
could never win the Presidency in America – but he did. We cannot let what
we want to be true blind us to what is already happening.

There is no playbook for this moment. But I do believe that we will
persevere as long as we're willing to do the hard work required to protect
our democracy.

[ [link removed] ]Progressives will always be the first line of defense against
right-wing extremists in America – that's why it's critical that our
campaigns stay strong and we win our elections across the board this fall.
Will you chip in to help?

We're navigating an unstable political landscape, and the Republicans know
it – they're trying to seize this moment and regain control of major
offices in the midterms.

I will never stop fighting for truth, for accountability, and for our
democracy – and neither will Democrats. Our progressive caucus is united
against these extremist fearmongers. That's why it's critical our members
are re-elected and new visionary leaders will join us to fight for their
communities.

There's a reason why I have dedicated so much time and energy to
supporting powerful, popular progressives who will bring much-needed
energy and new perspectives to Congress. It is our job to give our
communities something to believe in – to believe that we will not stand
down, but fight back, and win.

We must work harder, think smarter, and strategize for the long-term.
[ [link removed] ]I've spent days on the road with progressives all over the country and
am proud to lead our progressive caucus in Congress. If you want to help
us organize against the extreme GOP election deniers – chip in
$3 or any amount today.
