Impeachment Update :
With the votes, which are expected to fall largely along party lines, Trump will become just the third president to be impeached — after Andrew Johnson in 1868 and Bill Clinton in 1998.
As the House Democrats prepare to vote on President Trump's impeachment, GOP Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA) delivered a historic speech that left everyone in the room speechless.
According to the Gateway Pundit, Higgins took the podium during the House floor hearings and called out the very same "socialists who threaten the life of the unborn.”
Here is what Higgins had to say:
Rep. Clay Higgins: "I have descended into the belly of the beast. I have witnessed the terror within and I rise committed to oppose the insidious forces that threaten our republic. America is being severely injured by this betrayal, by this unjust and weaponized impeachment brought upon us by the same Socialists who threaten unborn life in the womb. Who threaten First Amendment rights of conservatives, who threaten Second Amendment protections of every American patriot, and who long ago determined that they would organize and conspire to overthrow President Trump.
