Hi there, it’s Elizabeth Warren.

I want to talk about why I’m paying very close attention to what happens in New Hampshire this fall.

Right now, we’re just a couple of Senate votes short of ending the filibuster and passing federal protections for abortion rights — so if we expand our majority and hold onto the House, we can secure abortion rights nationwide as soon as January.

But that won’t be possible if we lose control of the Senate. That means we must defend every single Democratic incumbent up for reelection this year — including Maggie Hassan. The GOP has made her a top target, and right now, she needs our help to hold onto this seat.

That’s why I’m asking you if you can chip in to support her reelection campaign. Whatever you can give — $3 or $13 or more — will make a difference in keeping Maggie in the Senate.

I’ve been proud to work shoulder to shoulder with Maggie to make progress on the priorities that matter most to American families. But our ability to protect the progress we have made and push for further action will come to a complete halt if Mitch McConnell flips just one seat and takes back the gavel in November.

McConnell’s vision for a Senate majority under his control is clear: radical, anti-choice, and obstructionist. We can’t let him make that vision a reality. We need Maggie’s voice and her vote in the Senate.

And she will need help from all of us. Because she won her last race by just 1,017 votes, the GOP is targeting her, and Maggie is in jeopardy of being replaced by a rubber stamp for Mitch McConnell’s radical right-wing agenda. We can’t let that happen.
