Now that the numerous perks of President Biden’s $1 trillion Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill are emerging in New Mexican communities, no surprise- Yvette Herrell is trying to take credit for Democrats’ hard work and mislead voters into thinking she supports it.

President Biden recently called out a list of Republican lawmakers who voted against the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill who, like Herrell, are now taking credit for the benefits this bill provides for their states. Republicans like Herrell are hoping that their constituents don’t know how their representatives voted on the Infrastructure Bill, which is why Yvette is more than willing to go to these communities and take credit to “help” them access the benefits.

Democrats need to take action. We can’t let Yvette Herrell and the rest of these Republican hypocrites take credit for the hard work and compassion that led to the passing of this historic bill. When we keep electing Democrats, we keep passing bills so great that Republicans want to take credit for them. Let’s get Democrats elected and keep up our momentum toward Democratic victory in November.
