North Carolinians are proudly independent people, and we expect the same from those who take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

Unfortunately, over the last few days, we’ve seen Mitch McConnell blatantly admit that his top priority in the Senate’s upcoming impeachment trial is to cover for President Trump as the White House blocks members of its administration from testifying and refuses to comply with congressional subpoenas for documents. And Thom Tillis backed him up.

Every American is entitled to the full truth. But Thom Tillis and Mitch McConnell are playing politics with a serious constitutional matter.

North Carolinians expect a fair hearing of the facts. But it’s just not what we’re getting from our leaders right now. So, we're asking:
