"60 Percent Of Americans Will Have An Election Denier On The Ballot This Fall"

FiveThirtyEight reports that candidates who falsely claim the 2020 election was “stolen” from Donald Trump will be on ballots in almost every state in November.

All six statewide Republican candidates in New Mexico — including far-right Rep. Yvette Herrell in NM-02 and extreme Secretary of State candidate Audrey Trujillo — have either completely denied the election results or refused to give their opinion on the topic.

Let’s be clear: You either boost Trump’s Big Lie — or you don’t. There is no middle ground or neutral stance when it comes to our democracy. This November, New Mexicans and folks across the country will make a choice between candidates who will fight to defend our democracy and ones committed to destroying it.

Martin will always vote to strengthen our democracy in the Senate and work to support candidates up and down the ballot who will fight voter disinformation, voter suppression laws, and voting restrictions.
