[ [link removed] ]Welch for Vermont
Hello,
Last night’s debate drew a clear line in the sand.
The choice in this election couldn’t be more clear: Do voters want to
elect Peter to fight for abortion rights, progress on climate change, and
lower costs for families? Or do they want to hand the Senate back to Mitch
McConnell’s GOP and the rollback of our rights and freedoms?
Last night, our opponent shared the following views:
* He supports overturning Roe vs. Wade, even in cases of rape and
incest, and he wouldn’t take any action to protect abortion rights as
senator.
* He supports INCREASED oil drilling on public lands.
* Said he was “encouraged” by the recent West Virginia v. EPA decision,
which put the interests of corporate polluters over clean air and
water.
* He opposes the Inflation Reduction Act, which fights inflation,
combats climate change, and lowers costs for prescription drugs.
It was an
important reminder of what we’re fighting for and what we all know: That
we need to elect Peter and win this seat. [ [link removed] ]If you believe in the
progressive change that Peter’s fighting for, chip in what you can today.

Peter stepped out on the stage last night with one goal: To stand up for
our shared values and show how our progressive vision can help families
across the state. He did that, and more, and now the choice is clear. We
can go one of two ways: backward or forward. Our campaign is fighting to
move forward. That’s why we need committed folks like you, to help in this final stretch of the
campaign.
Climate action, abortion rights, a strong democracy, lower health care
costs, better and more affordable childcare, paid family leave—these
aren’t progressive pipe dreams. They’re worth fighting for and with a
Democratically-held Senate, they’re possible if we fight together.
[ [link removed] ]If last night’s debate fired you up, pitch in and let’s make sure we
win this seat.
Thank you,
Team Welch
