John – Yesterday, Alex emailed you about how important it is to connect with voters in these final two months before the election – but I wanted to reach out again to make sure you know what is on the line here.

You see, if we lose just ONE seat in the Senate, that hands Mitch McConnell the reins to gut all of our progress.

That means at least two years of gridlock and thwarting progress at every turn. It could mean a national ban on abortion. It means turning back the clock on gun safety, on environmental protection, on checks on Big Pharma, and so much more.

We simply can't allow this to happen – and preventing all of it could come down to our race right here in Missouri.

John, it's Alex, Trudy's campaign manager. This morning, I woke up, checked my phone, and realized something: The 2022 midterm elections are exactly two months away from today.

I've worked on campaigns for a while now. I've watched the days fly by faster and faster. I know that in this final stretch, summer is gone in the blink of an eye, and Election Day is right there in front of you. But it still comes as a shock every time.

So, as of today, we have just two months until Election Day.

We have just two months until the last ballots are counted.

We have just two months until this campaign is over.

We have just two months until voters choose either progress and compassion or extremism and hate.

Listen, voters are ready to hear Trudy's story, and they're ready to choose a senator who will fight for them every single day. But to make this happen, we need the grassroots resources to ensure we can turn out the vote and reach the swing voters who will decide this election. That means traveling to events, running ads, hiring organizers, knocking on doors, canvassing neighborhoods, and fighting voter suppression.

We have the heart to do all of that, but we won't be able to rally the grassroots funds we need to do it without your help. So please, John, can you pitch in $5 or whatever you have to spare right now to send this nurse's heart to Washington and protect our Senate majority?
